Intact model of male genitalia found in 1956 on the Acropolis south slope. The pubic details are rendered in relief.

Models of genitalia are usually encountered as sanctuary dedications to Asklepios when worshippers asked the god to heal their ailments or help them have children. There are also cases in which these models functioned as objects of apotropaic character that wailed off the evil eye and brought well-being.
